The Duke-NUS White Coat Ceremony is to celebrate and welcome the student's entry into the medical profession. 

Applying the same visual theme, I adapted the design to create a stronger aurora-inspired look by removing the meteor rays. This updated design was used across the event collaterals, including the iDisplay screen and the podium on stage, ensuring a cohesive visual identity throughout the ceremony.

The main backdrop was designed to be displayed at the venue's main entrance, serving as a photo backdrop for students, families, and guests to commemorate the occasion.

This backdrop was created entirely in Adobe Illustrator, using only Illustrator's built-in tools to develop the artwork from scratch. I used the built-in tools create the flowing aurora effect, while carefully refining the composition and lighting to achieve the intended visual.

Throughout the design process, I produced two test prints to evaluate colour accuracy and how different effects translated from screen to print. Based on each print, I adjusted the gradients, lighting, and other design elements before conducting another round of test printing. This iterative process ensured the final printed backdrop closely matched the intended look and met the desired print quality.
